ZCHS Track & Field

Mission Statement

Zionsville Community High School recognizes that interested students should be given the opportunity to develop their potential as athletes in activities appropriate to their ability level. ZCHS provides a program of interscholastic athletics, which promotes participation for qualified students within the rules and regulations of the Indiana High School Athletic Association, the Zionsville School Corporation, and the Zionsville Community High School Athletic Department.

The goal of the Zionsville Community High School athletic depaertment is to promote an environment which allows the ZCHS athlete to develop and grow in the following areas: teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, self-discipline, and moral character. We want each athlete to enjoy participation on the team, while also learning the values of winning and losing. The athletic department will support each student athlete, on all teams and in every sport while providing the best possible coaching staff, a competitive schedule, the finest equipment, exceptional facilities, and the safest environment necessary to attain individual/team success.

It is expected that the lessons learned and the experiences gained from participation in athletics will play an integral part in the overall education of the Zionsville High School student athlete.
